There’s free transportation to Flores available by boat before 8 pm, and for a small fee boat will transport you to surrounding areas after hours. I scheduled the boat at 2:30 am to make it to Flores for my tour to Tikal and for 3 consecutive nights to pick me up after dinner. They also have a complimentary use of 2 kayaks. I used a kayak to visit a museum in Isleta Santa Barbara, and just for fun around the island. Food is also available and affordable on site. I highly recommend Las Luciérnagas, you’ll enjoy your stay! The staff were incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely helpful, always going above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. We truly appreciated the early check-in, which made our arrival so smooth and stress-free. The food was fantastic—fresh, delicious, and beautifully presented. Every meal was something we looked forward to. The view was simply amazing and made our stay even more special. Waking up to that scenery each morning was unforgettable. Overall, it was a very pleasant and relaxing experience. We would highly recommend this hotel and would gladly return in the future.
